Registration 9 AM to 9:45 AM.
Any player who fails to register before the close of registration will miss the first round. All of the main rounds are expected to be completed by around 4 PM. Players involved in play-off games may be required to stay after this time. |

Time Controls: |
30 minutes per player per game. |

Eligibility: |
This event is open only to those who have qualified through one of the Canadian Chess Challenge 2007 regional tournaments. (Note, however, that Grade 10 to 12 players may play in the provincial final without having first qualified in a regional). |

Awards: |
Medals will be awarded to the top three players in each grade. In addition, the top player in each grade will be invited to represent the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador as a member of the provincial team in the National Final. |
