'Open' Chess Tournament - December 1st, 2001 -

St. Peter's Academy, 

Benoit's  Cove (15 min outside Corner Brook on the South Shore)

 This will be a Scholastic 'Rated' Tournament.

 Touch - Take Rules in effect.

 Medals for top three players in each of 4 categories .... Grades K-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12.

 Certificates for participation.

Participating groups are asked to please bring along tournament or other suitable chess boards.

 Registration at the door begins at 9:30 am on Saturday, Dec 1st.

A registration fee of $6 per player will be charged which will include a morning snack followed by lunch - pizza and pop. A canteen serve will also be available throughout the day.
