Corner Brook Grenfell College Campus:

First place ties: Cameron Locke and Amar Sodhi

Championship on-line game: Cameron Locke (0) vs Grant Spraggett (1)

Game: Locke vs Spraggett

Following information Posted by Amar Sodhi on 10/25/2004, 3:01 pm from Grenfell College, Corner Brook :

Cameron Locke and Amar Sodhi tied for first with 3.5/4.
Terry White (who lost against Cameron in round 3) and Asmita Sodhi (who lost to Wade Bowers in round 1, and therefore made good use of the Swiss "gambit") tied for third with 3 points each.

Wade Bower had 2/4, but his losses came in hard fought games against Cameron and Amar.

The last round encounter between Amar and Cameron was an exciting game where Cameron exchanged both his bishops for knights to mount an attack. I'll try to key in this game later this week.

It was a pleasure to have a tournament with a link to St. John's. Locke vs Spraggett was broadcasted live here in Corner Brook.
Thank's to Alick for organizing a chess link which went very smoothly indeed.

Amar.
